Airports in Sydney
The main airport that serves passengers travelling to and from this city is Kingsford-Smith Airport. It's one of the oldest airports in the world to have been continually in operation. This airport serves more than 37 million passengers per year and currently has 3 terminals. Terminal 1 is used mainly for international carriers, terminal 2 is used for regional aircrafts and terminal 3 is used for domestic carriers.
This airport is approximately 8 km away from Sydney CBD.
Transportation
Passengers can use the Airport Link rail service to reach different parts of the city. Regular suburban trains service people travelling to and from the airport to the city. There are also buses from the airport to Bondi Junction railway stations. The airport is home to many car rental operators. Since there are several road connections to the airport, passengers may find it easy to navigate their way around in a rental car. There's also a taxi rank available at the airport itself.
