Airports in Zurich
The main international airport that handles passengers travelling to the city is Zürich Airport. It serves around 60 passenger carriers from all over the world and offers flights to 196 destinations. This airport is the largest in the nation and has 3 airside terminals. Schengen and Non-Schengen passengers are served in separate areas within the Airside centre. Terminal A handles carriers from the Schengen area; terminal E handles flights from Non-Schengen areas; while terminal B serves both Schengen and Non-Schengen flights.
This airport is approximately 13 km away from downtown Zurich.
Transportation
This airport has a railway station located right under the Airport centre. Passengers can find direct tram services to many destinations in the city. There's also a light rail system together with bus services to many places in the Glattal region. Passengers have the option of hiring a car at the terminal complex. Those who don't want to drive can choose to use airport taxis to reach their destinations.
