Airports in Bali
The Ngurah Rai International Airport, sometimes called the Denpasar International Airport, is the main airport in Bali. This airport serves nearly 20 million passengers each year. Both the International Terminal and the Domestic terminal are equipped with 62 check-in counters. There's also a special apron at the south of the airport to accommodate private airplanes.
The airport is at a distance of 2.5 km from Kuta or 13 km from Denpasar.
To get around from the airport you can rent a vehicle, hail a metred taxi outside the airport or use the Bali Airport Taxi Service. The latter is known as Taksi Ngurah Rai. If you're looking for the taxi counter, you'll find it just outside the arrivals hall. Exit arrivals and turn right to find the counter.
