Airports in Darwin

Darwin's airport is the tenth busiest airport in the nation, handling over 1.7 million passengers per year. The airport also shares its runways with the Australian Department of Defence.
The airport is located nearly 13 km away from the city centre.
Transportation
Passengers travelling to and from the airport could use the Darwin City Airport Shuttle Service. There are also privately owned buses and coaches that transport people from the airport to other places in the Northern Territory, such as Darwinbus, which serves passengers in the greater Darwin area. Travellers to the city can hire cars or use taxis to get around. There are affordable short and long stay car parking options available at the airport. Please note there aren't any commuter rail services in city.
