Airports in Rio De Janeiro
The Galeão International Airport serves international carriers flying to and from Rio de Janeiro. It shares some of its facilities with the Brazilian Air Force and serves more than 10 million passengers each year, many of which arrive from Argentina, the U.S. and France.

Transportation
There's a rapid bus transit service known as TransCarioca that connects passengers to Barra da Tijuca and the subway station (Vicente de Carvalho). This transit service is operational all throughout the day and night. Head to the arrivals level to buy tickets to use this service. There's also the Premium Auto Ônibus service from the airport to the city. These buses run every half-hour between 05:30 and 23:30. In addition, there are ordinary bus services that transport passengers to Bonsucesso and Ilha do Governador. Passengers will find connecting bus services from these stops to the north and south of the city.
