There's a rapid bus transit service known as TransCarioca that connects passengers to Barra da Tijuca and the subway station (Vicente de Carvalho). There's also the Premium Auto Ônibus service from the airport to the city. These buses run every half-hour between 05:30 and 23:30. In addition, there are ordinary bus services that transport passengers to Bonsucesso and Ilha do Governador.
