Airports in Miami
The Miami International Airport and neighbouring Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport serve commercial traffic in the Miami area. The Miami International Airport acts as a gateway for passengers travelling between the US and Latin America.
It's easy to get around from the airport. There are bus and rail services that operate between the airport and the city centre. Additionally, there are taxis, shuttles and inter-city bus services from the airport.
This airport is approximately 31 km away from downtown Miami.
Passengers can use the Broward County Transit bus service or the Tri-Rail commuter service to travel to Fort Lauderdale city centre. There's also a rental car facility at the airport. Those travelling by rail can use the Tri-Rail commuter service to reach Miami from Fort Lauderdale.
