The Darwin International Airport is located in the suburb of Marrara, approximately 8 km from the city centre. There is a public bus service (Bus route 3) that runs from the Casuarina Interchange in the Northern suburbs of Darwin to the airport. Take a cab from anywhere to get to the airport, or if you're in the mood to be fancy, book a chauffeur transfer and arrive in a limousine. The Darwin Airport Shuttle operates between the airport and the central business district. The buses are air-conditioned and offer an all day long pick-up service.

Travelling from Darwin to Brisbane will have you arriving at the Brisbane Airport, some 12 km from the central business district. Free transfers between the two passenger terminals and Skygate are provided by the orange transfer bus. For fast and convenient transport to the city or the Gold Coast you can take the Airtrain, where there's very easy to spot signage that will make it easy for you to get to the stations.
