Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport is the only airport serving passengers to the city. It handles more than 11 million passengers per year and is divided into four main areas known as Terminal 1, Terminal 2A, Terminal 2B and the Sky Court. Terminal 1 is no longer in use while Terminals 2A and 2B serve flights inside and outside the Schengen area respectively. The Sky Court is a large waiting and shopping area that connect terminals 2A and 2B.

The easiest way to get to the city centre is by taxi. You could also hop onboard a train run by the Hungarian State Railways. Trains from the Nyugati Railway Station transport passengers to the Ferihegy train station, located close to Terminal 2. There are also public buses, private shuttles and coach services that transport passengers travelling to and from the airport to outlying towns in Hungary.
