Flights from Berlin to Rome

Berlin's Schönefeld Airport was founded back during the Cold War, located 18 km southeast of the city. It has four terminals operating alongside Tegel Airport. Both of them conduct international flights to and from the city.

Flights from Berlin to Rome are easily found with more than four flights to choose from taking only approximately 2 hours to fetch. Bus stations and cab services are also located at the terminals and won't cost you a fortune. Schönefeld Airport is the best place to find airline services at reasonable prices, along with parking facility and bus/train stops to take you to the city.

Train services such as the Airport Express, RB14 and RE7 can bring you to your destinations and are only about 5-minute walk away from the terminal. These services link the Tegel Airport to Schönefeld Airport.

Not only does Rome relish in all privileges as Italy's legendary capital, the city itself is full of photo opportunities for lucky tourists. Apart from being very vibrant after dark, you can also attend a theatre night at the Baths of Caracalla and climb to the top of the Sistine Chapel on foot. Ancient statues, Byzantine mosaics, sculptures by Michelangelo and fountains by Bernini adorn Rome in an enthralling display of history.

Time spent exploring the world somewhat pales by comparison once you take a trip to Rome; the nightlife hums with activity late into the morning around the Trastevere area while its restaurants provide an unforgettable taste of city life.

The main international airport operating in Rome is Leonardo da Vinci, with Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport running as a low-budget backup. It serves Ryanair and general aviation traffic. Both of these airports take flights to and from Berlin, while an extensive road transport network carries tourists through into the city. There is a direct train service from Leonardo da Vinci, the Leonardo Express, which can even take you to the heart of Rome.

There are also taxi connections that operate at relatively lower costs. A bus shuttle service is located in Leonardo da Vinci Airport (terminal 3) that runs straight to the city. Passengers can buy their tickets while on-board.
