Flights from Lisbon to Prague

Portugal's capital city Lisbon is home to its main international airport, Lisbon Airport. In 2014 the airport served over 20 million passengers. It has also been nominated several times as Europe's leading airport at the World Travel Awards.

Lisbon Airport has two passenger terminal buildings, terminals 1 and 2. Terminal 1 contains two check-in halls with a total of 81 desks plus 29 gates. It handles many of the flights from Lisbon to Prague. Terminal 2 is its smaller but newer counterpart and is primarily used for low cost carrier flights. It comprises of 21 check-in desks and 15 gates.

Have a flight to catch from Lisbon Airport? It's possible to reach the airport in as quickly as 20 minutes depending on the traffic. The Metro operates a direct line from Lisbon city centre to the airport. The main terminal can be reached via local buses. If your flight is departing from terminal 2 there's a free shuttle bus that links the two terminals. The Aerobus or Airport Shuttle is ideal for those carrying a lot of luggage as local buses have a baggage size limit. If for any reason you'd rather not take public transportation you can grab a cab instead.

Prague oozes charm that you don't find just anywhere. Take a good look at the skyline and you'll understand how it earned the nickname "The City of a Hundred Spires", with its stunning views of majestic architectural gems. One site in particular you have to visit is Prague Castle–the world's largest ancient castle. On its grounds are several popular tourist spots like St. George's Basilica, the Old Royal Palace and St. Vitus Cathedral.

While exploring its cobbled lanes don't forget to take a break every now and then to taste the food. International cuisine is readily available when you want it, but it's also worth trying mouth-watering Czech flavours.

Václav Havel Airport Prague is the international airport serving the Czech Republic's capital. The airport receives flights from Lisbon and has a public transport system that makes it possible to get to the city centre quickly. For budget transport local buses are the way to go.

There is no direct railway link from the airport to the city, however one can take the Airport Express shuttle bus at no cost to Prague Main Railway Station. Several taxi companies also operate from the airport and can take you to your chosen destination. You'll find their counters at the arrivals hall of terminals 1 and 2. The departure points are just in front of these halls.
